Lawyer by the Escuela Libre de Derecho, with a Master's degree from the Latin American Faculty of Social Sciences (FLACSO). He has more than 23 years of professional experience, both in the public and private sectors.

In the public sector, he worked in jurisdictional bodies and in the public administration, participating in the elaboration of relevant rulings on amparo matters -such as legitimate interest and adhesive amparo- as well as in the construction of jurisprudence on human rights, guarantees and electoral institutions. He was part of the drafting team of the Internal Regulations of the Ministry of the Interior (2013) and led the legal defense of such institution in key trials (such as those related to the Regulation of the Law of Gaming and Lotteries and the gender alert in the State of Mexico).

In the private sector, Ricardo has designed legal strategies for the defense of individuals against acts of authority in regulated sectors, concessions and sensitive areas such as energy, health, water, transportation, intellectual property, taxes, prevention of money laundering and bullfighting. Likewise, he has been an advisor on human rights protection issues and studies on the constitutionality of laws, offering efficient and innovative solutions. He has also participated as an expert in commercial arbitration.

He was rector of the Escuela Libre de Derecho (2018-2022), becoming one of the youngest rectors of the institution. This experience has consolidated him as a consultant in crisis management, conflict resolution and institutional strategy design.

Ricardo is a professor of Constitutional Procedural Law at the Escuela Libre de Derecho. He is a lecturer on constitutional law, human rights, political theory, bullfighting and judicial independence.
